This month, we are featuring Sr. Margo Young. Sr. Margo currently services on council, the leadership team for the Sisters of the Precious Blood. She is also a licensed physical, still practicing in California.

What year did you join the Sisters of the Precious Blood?
1966
Why the Sisters of the Precious Blood?
Only God knows! But I was drawn to them for their joy, prayer and service.
Who is/are your favorite Saint(s)?
Catherine of Siena, Hildegard of Bingen and Julian of Norwich
Do you have a favorite prayer or style of prayer?
Staring into space in silence both within and without. Centering prayer
What do you in your spare time?
Walking, gardening, reading, doing nothing, jigsaw puzzles, candy crush

What’s been your favorite ministry as a sister?
All of it! I treasure most my years as a doctor in Guatemala and taking those skills to care for those in disasters in India, Salvador and Guatemala.
What piece of advice would you pass along to young adults in discernment?
Let go and let God! Don’t think you need to figure it out. Let God rise in you and you will know the way.
